Fear of offering and receiving love is something we often crucify ourselves between. ‘I can’t provide you a relationship’ or ‘I want more than you can give’ are phrases we frequently hear.
Nonetheless, we choose to dance through life, savoring the harmonics of each encounter. But out of fear, we may opt to remain alone at times and persuade ourselves that we have no desire to crave or possess one another. But what is true love if we may just be with one other and enjoy the experience?
Walking and dancing through life holding hands, yet loving each other enough not to grasp onto one other, is truly a gift we can offer each other. You’ll be happier if you choose to welcome love rather than try to confine or contain it.
