On social media, I came across a story of a well-known musician who got divorced due to an affair. He recently discussed the cheating scandals in an interview. His assertion:
“I realized that I had not been living my truth for a very, very long time,” he shared. Ne-Yo acknowledged societal pressures to conform to traditional relationships, saying, “Society tells you that you’re supposed to be with one person. You get married, and y’all supposed to be together forever. Monogamy’s for you? It’s not for me. I know this now, and it’s like a weight lifted off my shoulders.”
Although many people, particularly women, don’t like to hear such things, the truth is that monogamy is a decision made by couples; it may work for some but not for others.
He is more likely to enjoy relationships now that he has acknowledged that he cannot be monogamous something that men would never acknowledge lol This is what he meant when he said, “It’s not for me. I know this now, and it’s like a weight lifted off my shoulders.”
The problem is that when a man says, “I want you and other women,” people accuse him of being a dog, yet his true nature is to have sexual relationships including having children. Men do that at Bible time, and to ensure their sexual needs were met, men in those days had concubines, along with primary wife.
What is the secret to staying monogamous? The primary factor is maintaining “sexual intensity” Maintain his desire for you, if he doesn’t sense the passion of your relationship, that “intense pull” he will stray! When you consider it, it takes a lot of work for one woman to fulfill a man’s biological needs haha so find his switch and turn it on.
