When Affection Fades: Money Is Never Enough.

I’ve come to understand why so many relationships, including marriages, eventually come to an end. It’s often because we unknowingly base the value of those relationships on tangible things shared routines, financial stability, physical presence, or material gestures like gifts and vacations. These things, while meaningful, can fade or change with time.

But true connection the kind that endures through life’s storms is rooted in the intangible. It’s in the silent understanding between two people, the unspoken trust, the emotional safety, the way someone holds space for your vulnerability without judgment. These invisible threads are what truly bind two souls.

When relationships lose their depth, it’s not usually because the tangible faded it’s because the intangible was never fully nurtured.
